We can choose to either help build a better world or hinder it
Rural community development is an encompassing focus of the work of Multiply the HARVEST. It affects every aspect of our work because it involves the development of individuals who will collectively act for the common good of the community. We have a participatory approach to poverty alleviation which includes capacity building, empowerment, cooperation and establishing some infrastructure.
The key starting point is commitment to development so that there is not a persistence of a life of complacency, but rather sustainable livelihood and community organization.
Program structuring and implementation leads to focus on key areas for development or modifications of infrastructure. These 'keys' act as catalysts to focus energy and effort to bring about significant results in community development.
